About This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. It applies to all users of the TSUKI website and services regardless of location. By using our services, you consent to the practices described here. If you have concerns about any part of this policy, please contact us before continuing to use our services.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services evolve or as legal requirements change. When we make material changes, we will notify affected users via email or a prominent notice on our website before the changes take effect.

Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR & International Users)

TSUKI serves users worldwide. For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions with data protection laws, we process personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Contractual necessity — processing required to deliver the services you've subscribed to, manage your account, and fulfill your purchases
  • Legitimate interest — processing necessary for security, fraud prevention, service improvement, and protecting our business, where these interests do not override your fundamental rights
  • Legal obligation — processing required to comply with applicable laws, such as financial record-keeping or responding to lawful government requests
  • Consent — where none of the above apply, we will seek your explicit consent before processing

Data We Collect Automatically

When you visit our website or use our software, we automatically collect certain technical information:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system and version
  • Pages visited and usage patterns

Data Collected by Our Software

When you use the TSUKI client software, additional data is collected to manage your license and protect our services:

  • Device and hardware identifiers — used to generate a unique device fingerprint for license management, including system configuration data such as hardware component identifiers, device serial numbers, and system firmware information
  • Operating system environment information
  • Software runtime events and diagnostic data

This data is collected for the purpose of enforcing device-based licensing — each account is bound to a single device to prevent account sharing — and for detecting unauthorized use, preventing fraud and abuse, and maintaining the security of our platform. We do not use this data to personally identify you, nor do we share device fingerprints with any third party. Your device fingerprint is stored as a one-way cryptographic hash — the original hardware values cannot be reconstructed from it.

Data You Provide to Us

Depending on how you interact with TSUKI, you may provide us with:

  • Email address (required for account registration)
  • Payment information — name, billing address, or phone number depending on your chosen payment method (processed by our payment providers, not stored by us)
  • Support correspondence and form submissions
  • Profile information you choose to share

Providing this data is necessary for us to deliver our services. If you choose not to provide required information, we may be unable to fulfill your request or maintain your account.

How We Use Your Data

We use collected data for the following purposes:

  • Delivering and maintaining the services you've purchased
  • Managing your account, subscriptions, and device authorizations
  • Processing HWID resets when you change your hardware
  • Communicating with you about your account, support requests, or service updates
  • Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, multi-accounting, and unauthorized access
  • Improving our website, software, and overall user experience
  • Complying with legal obligations

We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

Community & Public Spaces

Information you post in community forums, public profiles, or other shared spaces should be considered public. We cannot control how other users may use information you share publicly, and we are not responsible for maintaining the privacy of such content. Exercise caution when sharing personal details in any public-facing area of our services.

When We Share Your Data

We may share your personal data only in the following circumstances:

  • With payment processors to complete transactions (they operate under their own privacy policies)
  • With third-party anti-spam or verification services to protect the integrity of our platform
  • When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process
  • To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users

International Data Transfers

As TSUKI serves users globally, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection regardless of where it is processed, in compliance with applicable data transfer regulations.

Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously. All personal data stored in our systems is encrypted or hashed — never stored in plain text. We employ industry-standard security measures including secure connections, access controls, and regular security reviews.

That said, no system is completely immune to breaches. While we take every reasonable precaution, you acknowledge that transmitting data over the internet carries inherent risks.

Data Retention

We keep your personal data only as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to fulfill legal obligations and resolve disputes. If you'd like to close your account and have your data removed, contact our support team and we'll process your request.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in, save your preferences, verify your identity, and analyze how our site is used. Some cookies are essential for our services to function — disabling them will prevent you from logging in or using key features. By using our website, you agree to our use of cookies as described here.

Age Restrictions

TSUKI is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we discover that a user is under 18, we will close their account and delete associated personal data promptly.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Correction — ask us to update inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion — request that we erase your personal data
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format
  • Objection — object to certain types of processing, including processing based on legitimate interest
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time

To exercise any of these rights, please reach out to our support team. We will respond to valid requests within 30 days.
